Two years earlier, in an unscripted street interview in Japan, he’d named Margiela as one of his go-to brands, alongside Chrome Hearts and Maison Mihara Yasuhiro — long before there was any brand relationship to speak of. Friday’s invite was proof that the loyalty was never just talk.

Saturday: FELIP Hits the Court at NBA House Philippines
A day later, FELIP traded the leather jacket for a jersey. He suited up as one of the celebrity players at the NBA House Philippines 2026 Celebrity Showcase, presented by Prime Video, held at SPACE, One Ayala on August 29 — part of the country’s first-ever NBA House weekend, headlined by NBA legend Jason Kidd, Tony Parker and WNBA champion Lauren Jackson.
FELIP took the court in a crisp white No. 9 jersey, looking like he’d never left his varsity days behind — natural black hair, fresh-faced, and clearly enjoying himself from tip-off.
It’s not the first time he’s shown that basketball is more than a passing interest; it lines up with what longtime fans already know about his sports background. Before music, FELIP played varsity Sepak Takraw in high school — a sport that demands the same footwork, balance, and reflexes he brings to his choreography. Basketball has since become one of his favorite sports to play, and it showed.
Playing alongside his SB19 groupmates — all five members suited up for the celebrity exhibition — FELIP got in on the action in the first quarter with a standout sequence: a well-timed steal that turned into a fastbreak, capped off with a smooth Euro step to the basket. The kind of play that gets a crowd on its feet, and fans online certainly were.
This isn’t FELIP’s first time crossing over from stage to court, either.
